summer of skirts: broomsticks!

these are the two skirts that converted me to wearing skirts as "casual" wear, especially in the summer. 

both are thrifted for $5 each,

the turquoise one was soooo long i had to cut a row off for my short self:) 

the blue and white is a ralph lauren gem! 

this summer i am going to wear skirts everyday i go somewhere...swimsuits when i go to the pool:) 
i hope to get inventive and creative with my skirts,
reinventing, revamping and repurposing and just plain sewing
